No Walls Creative Arts

No Walls Creative Arts is an independednt Arts company, based in Plymouth, which is run by our two Artisitic Directors, Sam Pomeroy and Mark Sidey. No Walls was set up to continue the development of the Arts, specifically theatre, within Plymouth and the surrounding areas. No Walls aims to make theatre and the Arts accessible to all, in all formats, as well as pushing boundaries on theatrical productions, showcasing new and exciting work which is both challenging and rewarding for both the participants and the audiences who come to experience their work, we intend to do this by taking lesser known works and bringing them to audiences, so they can have the appreciation of the work too. We currently have an adult company which is producing their first musical, 'Into the Woods' which opens in May and we also run one-off workshops for adults. Our aim is to continue the development of the adult company and also have a youth company, which will launch next year, and a professional company, where we can employ local actors and produce a high standard of work. As well as the theatre companies, we will be setting up an outreach and education department, which will work with local schools and communities. We are running this Crowdfunding bid as one of the largest outgoings when putting on a production is the hire of heads mics, which can often exceed £1000 per show, we would like to raise £1100 in order to purchase our own head mics, which we can use again and again, therefore cutting our technical costs and allowing us to put our money back in to the Arts.
