Aim
Too many ex-service individuals are sleeping rough because they have hit a crisis in their civilian lives.
This charity do incredible work in helping and supporting vulnerable, homeless and marginalised people. They help by providing accommodation, gain skills, confidence and opportunities to have a fulfilled life.
I will be sleeping out for 1 night on 10th November to raise awareness and money for this amazing charity. I'm sure it will not be a true reflection of what sleeping rough is like for a homeless person. However, it will give me a small insight into the situation that many find themselves in.
I am familiar with sacrifices soldiers and their families make during their time serving and the impact on their mental health and wellbeing.
I would be grateful for any donations.
