Your support makes a difference
Support the production of No Identity, a graduation short film from ENU that tells a powerful story of identity and belonging.
The Story of No Identity بلا هوية
Aram, a young Palestinian living in Scotland, finally embarks on a journey to the homeland she has only known through family stories. Upon arrival, she is forced to confront painful questions of identity, memory, and belonging. No Identity explores what it means to carry a homeland within you, even when you are denied access to it.
Why Is This Story Worth Telling?
No Identity is a deeply human story about identity, belonging, and the search for home. Through the journey of a young Palestinian woman reconnecting with her heritage, the film explores universal feelings of longing, family, and the desire to understand where we come from.
While rooted in the Palestinian experience, No Identity speaks to anyone who has ever felt disconnected from their roots, searched for where they belong, or carried a place close to their heart. At its core, the film is about family, memory, culture, and the emotional ties that shape our sense of self.
By supporting No Identity, you are helping bring an underrepresented Palestinian story to the screen while supporting emerging filmmakers from Edinburgh Napier University. Your contribution will help cover essential production costs, including locations, production design, equipment, post-production, and festival submissions.
Together, we can create a film that celebrates identity, heritage, and the universal human need to belong.
