We're still collecting donations
On the 1st December 2020 we'd raised £786 with 23 supporters in 218 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Night People & The Twisted Wheel and the Rose & Monkey Hotel are part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues.
Our venue faces closure because of the ongoing pandemic, and the historic twisted wheel club especially (with it’s older demographic) could suffer for quite some time.
We have always prided ourselves on the huge diversity of events we host. Your donations will be used to pay our minimum monthly requirements (asset finance, equipment loans and general bills) until after the summer, we would also like to help out the team of freelancers (techs and small promoters, even the poster people) who are struggling to get by and are not eligible for much financial support from the government.
If we hit our target, and we can prevent the closure of our venue, everything above the amount we need will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues just like ours, right across the country.
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
