I have put on quite a few Edinburgh Fringe shows. But none so personal as this one. Reflecting my Fears and Anxiety's of the world we live in today. But I need your help to make this a reality.
Who Am I ?
Im a neurodiverse Horror fan. Ive found the genre has helped me cope with neurodiverse life in a way. Ive always been fascinated with ghosts, with monsters and the surreal. Ive always had a vivid nightmares about death and fear. I used to carry a dream journal when I was at school. in later life id look up meanings. and this is what this show is all about. It's all based on my very real nightmares some mould into known story's but the fears are all very real.
in 2023 I collaborated in the writing of an anthology show. This one to me is more ambitious and personal. It's influenced by the styling's of David Lynch. As his works also come from dreams and the surreal. I have always had a deep love for his works.
But this like any fringe production is not cheap and comes at a cost.
The Cost
1000 = for the venue
300 = to be advertised in the big book
300 = rehearsals and promotional costs
as I'm going this alone this year I have tried to keep costs to a minimal. I am looking to use other creatives. and always like to give something in a way of payment to them. so raising these funds would allow me to give back to them and cover the costs of putting on this production. contributions would be greatly appreciated. and in return I will offer rewards. Such as personal thanks video's (something I enjoy making)
