Lockdown, April 2020. Two sisters deal with mental stress in very different ways. With your help we can bring our film to the big screen.

We're still collecting donations

On the 11th December 2020 we'd raised £3,705 with 68 supporters in 41 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

 New stretch target

If we reach our stretched target we will donate 20% of those profits to MIND.

We will also create Night & Day Films Ltd and continue to make new work.

At a time when the arts are under threat, and we need them as never before, this short fictional drama - based on true stories - employs the compelling power of film to shine a light on the extraordinary, challenging times we are all currently living through, separately and together.

Claudia Jessie as Freya

We are now in post-production for our short film. We would love your help to get it across the line and onto the big screen.

And we will donate 20% of any profits to the charity, Mind.

At a time when we are all having to look after our mental health1603732022_3-white-on-blue-online.png, we believe drama is the way to get inside the real and vital stories affecting us all. We know these are difficult times but any money you could donate will be gratefully received and make a huge difference.

London. April 2020. A month into lockdown and two sisters are impelled to put all they hold dear at risk. One, a doctor, decides to speak out about the working conditions at her hospital. The other, a fledgling actress, dares to leave the house for the first time in weeks.

Aki Omoshaybi as Jerome

We would like to thank all our supporters so far.  Your generosity has enabled us to assemble an amazing team and get the film in the can!

Through a successful initial Crowdfunding campaign and some outside investment, we raised our target of £5000 to shoot the film. This covered the very basic costs of cast & crew fees, food, travel, props, design, costume, insurance and original music. Extra Coronavirus safety measures were also imperative on this shoot.  We now need to complete the film and are seeking a further £5000 for editing, grading, mixing, distrbution and marketing.

We would like to send huge thanks and support to all the Medics working tirelessly for the NHS.  We would especially like to send our appreciation to the Doctors who we spoke to about their personal experience during the first national lockdown. #nhsheroes

We also support #savethearts.  The theatre industry has been particularly hit hard by the effects of the Pandemic but the entertainment industry as a whole continues to suffer.  Our aim was to employ industry professionals, offering some hope for a brighter future and to continue to bring awareness to the cause.

We passionately believe that, despite current circumstances, we need to tell stories, not least capturing this unprecedented moment in time.

This could be the beginning of a very exciting creative journey.  We'd love you to come along with us.  There are many more stories to be told.
