Nick runs London Marathon 2024

Aim: To prevent any children from dying from a treatable heart condition - purely because of where they live.

The moment the cardiologist comes into the room with an Evelina Nurse.. is an experience which no parent should ever go through. 

This was the moment my wife and I were told our baby son George would not survive his single ventricular heart condition.

Now imagine losing a child purely because of where you live.. when if you lived in the UK (or other first world countries) they would most likely survive.

When my work offered the opportunity to run the London Marathon in 2024 for Chain of Hope, a fantastic charity who help prevent children from needlessly dying from treatable heart conditions, the first thing that came to mind was George and the chance to have something positive come from what has been a really rubbish 2023. 

I know everyone is struggling at the moment, but any donation no matter how large or small really does help save a life and is really appreciated.
