END THE CRISIS - SUPPORT THE STRIKES

HELP US SUPPORT NHS STAFF IN THEIR HOUR OF NEED! 

The NHS is facing the worst crisis in its 75 years. After 12 years, this Conservative Government has created the most dangerous staffing crisis in NHS history; the worst ever waiting times for emergency care and ambulance responses; 7 million patients waiting for treatment; the worst ever GP appointment waiting times; the largest number of dangerously unsafe hospital buildings; half of children with no NHS dentist; a crisis of mental health and 500 AVOIDABLE DEATHS PER WEEK. This is why we must campaign to force the Government to act now to end the crisis and save lives. 

We demand that the Government: 

• Invest in fair pay for staff now
• End privatisation and outsourcing of NHS services
• Repair and rebuild crumbling infrastructure and reopen beds
• End the Social Care Disgrace
• Invest in up-to-date equipment without depending on private sector
• Equip mental health services for dealing with huge increased demand

The government says we can’t just keep pouring money into a failed service. In fact, more than a decade of austerity has left the NHS with an annual funding deficit of at least £35 billion. Let’s be clear, this Government wants the NHS to fail. 

WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT 

We're printing 100s of 1000s of leaflets every week, managing four websites, travelling to picket lines, designing and printing banners, appearing across the media, building coalitions and organising multiple days of action and demonstrations and much more. 

All of this costs money and requires staff. We need your help so our staff can increase our output and successfully defend the NHS.
