From Huiltacoche to Walls Raising, Building Hope
Wotton-under-Edge, England, United Kingdom
Aim
We're raising £2,600 to build a much-needed home for the 3rd generation farm.
You saw us go viral with huitlacoche. You saw us harvest to feed the community and OVC’s.
Now it’s time to build them a real home.
We’re raising £2,600 to take our shelter from bare ground to roof level.
Here’s exactly where your donation goes:
- £600 - Foundation: So the house stands strong
- £900 - Walls to Wall Plate: So we have rooms and safety
- £500 - Plastering: So it’s weatherproof and clean
- £600 - Roofing: So children have shelter from rain and sun
> This isn’t just building. This is dignity. This is a future.
While we build, we’re still feeding the community weekly. But walls can’t wait.
Partner with us. £10 buys cement. £50 buys roofing sheets. £100 pays a mason for a week.
Every donation gets a thank you + photo updates from site.
Let’s raise these walls together. ❤️
We are Green Hills Farm and Orphanage, and our mission is to provide a nurturing space for the care and education of orphans in Uganda. We're excited to be building new accommodation to support the children we care for.
Your support will directly help us construct this vital space, ensuring that the children we serve have a safe and stable home. With new children joining our Green Hills family, and our commitment to a sustainable future, there's no better time to make a real difference. We're proud that our ongoing costs are fully covered by a huitlacoche farm, already funded by those who believe in sustainable change, making this project truly impactful for the long term.
We would be so grateful if you could consider backing our project or sharing it with your friends and family to help us reach our goal.
