Extra funding would mean we can get better quality mats and netting.

We need funding to improve our sub standard training facilities, with improvements to the old netting and new mats both desperately needed.

We need funding to improve our sub standard training facilities, with improvements to the old netting and new mats both desperately needed.
We play at the Newquay Sports Centre which boasts sporting facilities as well as easy spectator and disabled access. We have two cricket squares, an all weather wicket, outdoor 3 lane practice nets, superb changing rooms and a sports bar. All prospective cricketers are welcome – regardless of ability! We are especially keen to encourage ladies to play cricket.
We will also entertain friendly fixtures with visitors to our seaside resort. We can organize accommodation, moreover, at a local 'club & tour friendly' hotel. Contact Richard Spall or Sam Millatt should you be interested.

The netting facility at Newquay CC is outdated and in desperate need of repair and upgrade. The nets have holes in them and the mats are worn, tired and damaged. The money we're aiming to raise from this campaign and a sponsored bike ride by some of our members will make a huge contribution to purchasing new mats and reparing / replacing the netting.
This will benefit all our members, which includes women, U11's, U13's, U15's and a large adult membership. It will more than likely entice players to join the club and improve training attendance, improving the long-term sustainability of the club at a time when cricket participation is dropping.
Your pledges will help achieve this goal, along with the sponsorship from the bike ride (Bude to Newquay).
