Newnham Archery Club has been in existence since 2015 and welcomes everyone. We are a small, friendly club and can provide a relaxing setting to practice and enjoy archery. We have members of all ages from our youngest aged 6 to well past retirement age. We have previously had grants which has enabled us to purchase target bosses on wheels and to pay for courses, we are proud to have two Archery GB Coaches (1 level two and 1 level one) plus 3 Instructors.
Some of our archers compete at local competitions, travel the UK at National Events and we have seen some of our Archers compete and International events and we can proudly say that we have seen one of our Junior Archers compete for GB and come home a Double Gold Medallist.

Why are we crowdfunding?
We are looking at crowdfunding to work alongside our own fundraising events planned for this year, we are participating in Start Archery week, Coffee Mornings and a planned music event. As a community group which is not for profit, we have no spare revenue to update or create new facilities at Newnham Cricket ground and we rely on volunteers to help run our club.
What positive impact will having disabled toilet facilities make?
Having disabled toilet facilities, also known as accessible toilets or Changing Places toilets, significantly improves the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their caregivers. These facilities provide increased independence and dignity by allowing individuals to use the toilet in a safe, comfortable, and hygienic environment, reducing anxiety and promoting confidence. They also alleviate the need for constant supervision and assistance, supporting caregivers and making it easier for disabled individuals to participate in sporting and social activities.
How we’ll spend the money raised
We have located the ideal facilities that we could purchase and it would be delivered and ready to use, we estimate these costs to be around £4000.
