Let's get Greens elected in Newham and end Labour's one party state
With less than one year until Newham residents go to the polls to elect their councillors, we need to act fast if we want to end Labour's one party state, and elect Nate and Danny as the first ever Green councillors here in Newham.
With your help, we achieved record results in Newham in the 2021 London Mayoral and Assembly elections, firmly beating the Liberal Democrats and beating the Tories in parts of the borough.
Newham Greens are breaking records. We're now ready to launch our most ambitious local election campaign ever, where we aim to reach every resident in Stratford Olympic Park multiple times between now and polling day. But we need your help.
Leaflets win elections. They're our opportunity to spread the Green message to as many voters as possible. But leaflets cost money, and as the Green Party does not rely on corporate donors or private dodgy deals to finance our operations, we're asking for your help.
Every £5 you donate helps us reach over 200 voters, and with the margin between Labour and the Greens expected to be close, your donation could make the difference.
With just £30, we can reach a fifth of the entire ward and help them hear our positive, Green vision for Newham, possibly for the first time.
£75 will help us reach half the residents here in Stratford Olympic Park, and £150 will pay for an entire leaflet round. But every little helps.
We're really inspired by all the people coming forward to say they want to elect Newham's first Green councillors, but we need to ensure we have the resources to make the best use of this amazing enthusiasm.
