Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank Appeal

Last year Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank supported more than 5,000 families across Newcastle-under-Lyme borough with emergency food parcels.

But the effects of Covid-19 mean even more people in our community are at risk of hunger due to poverty.

We need your help to fund the purchase the food and meet running costs so we can continue to provide essential services to those in need - now and in the future.

More about Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank

Our food bank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area. 

We know it takes more than food to end hunger. So as well as easing the immediate pressure of putting food on the table, our project aims to extend the hand of kindness to our clients. Our volunteers take the time to listen to voucher-holders to help them identify a pathway out of poverty. 

With access to a safe space to talk, clients are offered further information and advice on how to contact the support organisations that may give them the tools and ability to tackle the root cause of their hardship.
