To the right is the new vehicle we would like to purchase with the funding. This vehicle will allow us to host workshops on location, screen safety campaigns and documentaries.We also provide a platform for young people to perform at festivals and join our free mentorship programme.

The Beats Bus mobile recording studio was launched in 2017 the Hull City of Culture year that help to launch our business. The purpose of the Bus is to visit disadvantaged communities and break down financial barriers for young people to access creative services, follow their dreams and aspirations through positive role models and professional hip-hop artists. 

We are unique in our practice and have changed 1000's of young peoples lives over the last 6 years. The Beats Bus vehicle is essential to our outreach work that feeds our free mentorship programme. 

The vehicle we used has been declared broken beyond repair by Danby our trusted mechanics who service and MOT our vehicle every year. We are crowdfunding to replace the Beats Bus to carry on with our important work that is imperative in our city of Hull, Yorkshire and beyond.

It is truly heartbreaking for us because we have put a lot of our time, effort, blood, sweat and tears into the Beats Bus Vehicle which is a valued asset in the deliverance of our award winning work. We have lots of campaigns planned for this year with the Beats Bus to keep young people safe and we are determined to fulfil this pledge.

for mentee 2 I would say he had low confidence before beats bus. He was a bit of a shy gentle giant who used to get a bit of stick at school.
