Aim: I am raising money for the Newark Sea Cadets to construct a purpose built HQ on the banks of the River Trent known as "Project Waterfront"

I am raising money for a charitable cause that is very important to me so please donate and help me reach my target in aid of Newark Sea Cadets to construct a purpose built HQ on the banks of the River Trent.

To do this I am embarking on the challenging "Fan Dance" which is following the SAS selection test march over Pen y Fan which is the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons on 6th July 2024.

The gruelling route starts and finishes at the iconic old red phone box with an immediate vertical route around Corn Du, descending the south slope of Pen Y Fan through Windy Gap junction, on to the Roman road which is a rough stone and dirt track, through water gully and up to the highest point on the Brecon Mountain railway line. The route then goes in reverse back on the Roman road on to the ruthless Jacob's ladder and back up to the summit of the Fan and returning to the red phone box. This all through the elements that the Brecon Beacons will provide on the day.

This will be a significant challenge for me personally, pushing my fitness levels to my limit and beyond! I am currently undertaking rigorous training with a 20kg loaded ruck sack.

Anything you can contribute towards helping me achieve my target towards the construction of the Newark Sea Cadets HQ will be massively appreciated.
