Aim

Help us create a therapeutic garden where women in our refuge who have escaped violence can relax, exercise and grow flowers and herbs.

In May 2015 we, opened the first specialist refuge for Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women fleeing "honour" based violence, forced marriage, female genital mutilation and domestic violence.

The women at the refuge have been through very traumatic experiences and we support and empower them rebuild their lives.

Luckily there is some private outdoor space at the refuge but currently it is completely bare with no plants or garden furniture.

Help us raise funds to create a lovely garden, a theraputic and peaceful space where the women can relax, eat outside on warmer days and enjoy gardening to take their minds off their traumatic experiences, exercise and  grow herbs to cook with.

This project successfully funded on 11th November 2016
