Please help our friendly and inclusive community centred, ECB-accredited club to upgrade our nets facilities!

Crouch End Cricket Club formerly known as Calthorpe CC was formed sometime before 1874 and the club began playing cricket at our present ground on the Shepherds Cot N8 in the early 1900s.
We are an ECB-accredited, friendly, inclusive club with 100 adult members, 150 junior members and a newly established Women and Girls section.
2019 was a successful year for Crouch End Cricket Club. Three out of our four adult league sides gaining promotion, with the first team completing their third successive promotion propelling us into the Premier Division.
It’s been a successful year for our colts too with divisional wins as well a successful pathway tour. As per our plan, the investment in coaching staff and equipment has allowed us to accommodate growing membership at the younger age groups and increase coaching and playing opportunities.
To build on our recent achievements on the field, our facilities need to be continually upgraded.
Last year we completed works on the kitchen and ground maintenance, but the focus now will be on our nets. We’ve identified that we need new, state-of-the-art ECB-certified nets, the same kind the players use at Lord’s.
The club has identified a company to install a fully carpeted 2 lane, 33m enclosed non turf cricket nets with a view to the work being completed prior to the start of the 2020 season.
BUT we need to raise £50,000 to fund the installation. There’s no doubt it’s an ambitious target. But we’re an ambitious club.
We have set our first target at £5,000 to ensure we can get the project going, with our dream target of £50,000 to cover the full installation.
We are confident that with your help we will be able to reach our dream target.
You will be helping future-proof Crouch End Cricket Club for generations to come.
Please tell your family, friends, colleagues and business contacts about our project... and don't forget to pledge!
