New School Stage

Aim

We are aiming to raise £2500.00 for a small stage for our worthy inner city children's performances.

The Coronavirus pandemic has led to pupils having low esteem and self-confidence.  We have observed that creative arts and in particular dramatic performances have helped pupils come through dark times and heal.  Their belief in themselves and the belief that they can succeed through drama and creativity is an area we feel we need to encourage and support.  A new stage will demonstrate that the school and it's community supports it's children in achieving a sense of pride and success when they perform.  Our children deserve this.

Staff at the school are putting themselves on our old, decrepit stage and are demonstrating how difficult it is to be performers.  It will become very clear that children are far better at this than we are.
