Always on

This project successfully funded on 20th February 2026, you can still support them with a donation.

Aim

To create a new all-weather surface at Padiham CC, giving local people a safe, year-round space for sport, play and community activity.

Who are we?

Padiham Cricket Club has been proudly serving the local community since it's founding in 1892. We are proud to be a founding member of the Northwest Cricket League since 2023. With senior and junior teams for all ages and abilities, we’re more than just a club - we’re a family that grows together through cricket.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We’re seeking support to install a new all-weather artificial surface at the Arbories, replacing a worn 20-year-old area that’s being removed. Our current practice space has become unusable, leaving both juniors and seniors dependent on the weather. This project will create a reliable, year-round area for sport and community activity, helping people of all ages stay active. Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us closer to restoring these vital facilities and ensuring our club continues to provide a safe, welcoming place for everyone to enjoy sport and physical activity - whatever the weather.

How we’ll spend the money raised

All money raised will go directly towards installing a new all-weather, multi-purpose artificial surface at Padiham Cricket Club.

Community impact

This project will benefit the whole local community, providing a safe, reliable and inclusive space for people to be active, social and healthy.

The new all-weather surface will allow training, games and group activity to take place all year round, no matter the weather. It will be used by local sports teams, schools, youth groups, families and community organisations for activities such as rounders, walking cricket, fitness sessions and general play.

By providing an accessible and welcoming facility, this project will help people move more, connect socially and feel proud of their local club again.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
