Help me turn my garage into a dedicated space for martial arts training with proper mats and flooring.
Hi, I'm Brett, a former pro MMA fighter with years of experience in martial arts. I've trained and coached MMA, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, and Jiu-Jitsu at various levels.
Personal Background:
Life has taken a turn due to my twin sons' autism and severe learning difficulties. To be there for them, I've had to shift careers and now work from home, offering online coaching and personal training. My passion for martial arts remains strong, and I want to share this passion with others.
The Need:
I know many people want to try martial arts for fitness, self-defence, or simply to explore something new. To provide the best experience, I need safe, solid new matting in my home 'dojo' (My garage 😂). However, quality mats aren't cheap, and I need your help to raise nearly £1000.
The Vision:
By creating a safer training space, I can ensure a secure environment for my sons and myself to play and train. Additionally, it will offer a welcoming space for others who might find traditional gyms intimidating.
I've seen many people with autism, like my sons, wanting to try martial arts but feeling overwhelmed by traditional gyms. This home dojo could be the perfect solution for them—and maybe for you too! It's not just about taking your money; it's about giving back value through rewards.
