Aim

To deliver child and parents skills classes and coaching, youth development experiences and whole family learning and bonding activities

If you were born in Blackpool chances are you could be in one of the 7 most deprived post codes in the country.  Young people in Blackpool are looking for ways to create a better future – not just for themselves but for every generation to come.  We are only a very small team and mainly volunteers, but we make a big difference to the children!

Youth workers play a critical role in making this happen. They stand by young people with an unfailing belief in their potential, cheering them on, often when others have given up. But they can’t do it alone.

This project is to fund a part-time Project Manager to deliver a consistent service of activities and groups helping children, young adults and their families. This involves marketing and bringing more families in to our activities. It involves managing our volunteers. It involves running our activity interventions supported by our volunteers. It involves being responsible for health and safety and policies.

Covid-19 has left the young people and their families in Blackpool in danger of losing the essential support, services and safe community spaces that youth organisations provide for young people. Now, more than ever, we need to unlock the power of youth work and family support – so we can reach more young people and build stronger family bonds, which endure during these challenging times.

Working with other organisations in Blackpool, such as local schools, the Big Local Lottery partnership and Blackpool Council, New Life Community Project is changing family lives in the community of Revoe, Blackpool.

Please support us in giving children in the most challenging area of the UK a better chance.
