We are raising money through this Crowdfunder to allow us to buy a new electronic scoreboard for all of our teams to use.

Wow! We made it to our target before we've even done the walk of Yr Wyddfa!
Thank you so much to all of our supporters so far! As we've still got a few days until our walk we thought we'd extend our target and try to raise more money to be used to buy junior kit for the coming season!
Denbigh Cricket Club is the local cricket club for Denbigh and surrounding area providing an opportunity for anyone in the community to take part in cricket in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
We offer three senior cricket teams competing in the North Wales Cricket League and have junior teams at under 9, under 11, under 13 and under 15 age group and in 2024 are beginning a girls team at under 11.
The club has grown and invested in improving our facilities over the last few years including improving the facilities for our growing number of match day spectators. The latest improvement we'd like to make is to install a digital electronic scoreboard in a position that allows all of the spectators watching our games from the bar and patio area to be able to see the match progress. Our current scoreboard is outdated, is always in need of repairs to the numbers.....and more importantly is located behind the spectator viewing area...not ideal we're sure you agree!
The money raised here will be used to purchase a brand new electronic scoreboard which will be controlled by scorers in the pavilion offering ball by ball updates rather than relying on players to change the score after the end of every over. This will also allow us to use the latest technology to keep our worldwide supporters updated via the ECB app and website.
Our final total will dictate which system we are able to purchase but we are aiming for a 19 digit system like these which cost £3,000, we will be installing the scoreboard ourselves with a budget of £1,000 assigned to this meaning our fundraising total is £4,000.
To start our Crowdfunder a group of players have agreed to climb Yr Wyddfa on April 7th.....but to add to the difficulty they will be doing the walk in full cricket whites, batting helmets, batting pads and gloves and with a bat.
