We are aiming to erect a purpose-built clubhouse (12 m x 4 m) to double the size of the existing clubhouse, so we can welcome more members.
Odiham Tennis Club has members of all ages and abilities, ranging from team players representing the club to those who just wish to enjoy a casual game of tennis with friends. Families are very welcome, with a strong junior membership, and popular coaching programmes.
The club is run by a volunteer committee who organise a range of tennis sessions throughout the year including an annual championship, box leagues and social tennis sessions for all levels. We also run a number of teams in local district leagues.
Our current clubhouse is no longer fit for purpose having been erected over 20 years ago. The floor is rotting and there is not enough space to encourage more social participation in the club activities.
The new clubhouse will be double the size (12 m x 4 m) of the existing shed with good amenities, including a fully fitted kitchen, social area, changing areas and a disabled toilet.
The aim is to provide more private changing facilities to encourage more junior members to play after school and during the weekends and holidays.
We also need more space to store our coaching equipment so that we can offer a comprehensive coaching programme for all abilities.
Odiham Tennis Club has been a part of the community in Odiham for many years, providing the opportunity to get fit and take part in competitions and social events for all ages.
We are happy to support juniors from a local Children's Home with free membership so that under-represented children have access to the club.
We are equally happy to support our local U3A to offer older members of the community the chance to stay fit in their later years. A disabled toilet will be available in the new clubhouse.
The plans for the clubhouse are below.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
