New Buildings Cricket Club Girls Cricket

Aim

We are raising money for girls cricket in New Buildings. We are trying to empower girls and women through the lovely game of cricket.

Newbuildings Cricket Club, founded in 2011 is a local community cricket club playing the top division in the North West Cricket Union. We currently stand at about 150 playing members and 100 non playing members.

We currently have 3 men's teams, 1 ladies team, 1 development ladies team, u11, u13 & u15 boys and girls youth teams with many voluntary coaches.

Covid 19 had a negative effect on our club with all income streams coming to a standstill but had a massive positive effect on the club as well with the amount of kids who joined us after being stuck in doors for so long.

Now to a point where youth members have doubled and professional coaches are required. We as a club are so fortunate to have so many parents on board in supporting us as a club by sending their children to us to participate in our cricket program.

We now have a massive Girls / Ladies project which we wish to follow with for the 2022 season. We are looking to get high class coaching, invest into equipment to maximise the girls training sessions and purchase playing equipment and clothing for the girls to expand on the program with all their hard work over the passed year and a half.

If we achieve the funding we have set out to achieve, our equipment, faciliites, venue hire, clothing and coaching staff will all be improved on as we will be a good financial state to afford these extra things.

The numbers are there, the skill and passion are there, now with your help, funding will be just what we need to take our Girls / Ladies program to the next level.
