We're still collecting donations
On the 6th October 2022 we'd raised £10,000 with 75 supporters in 49 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We are looking to raise the remainder of the money needed to fund an All Weather Cricket Practice Facility at our clubs ground.

The extra money will go towards club running costs
Evenwood CC are an amateur cricket club operating in the Bishop Auckland area of lCounty Durham since our reformation in 1966. Our club are founding members of the Durham & North East Cricket League and our junior section competes in the Durham Cricket Board Junior League.
Our teams consist of two adult senior teams and three mixed junior teams made up from local adults and children.
We have a proud history since our reformation in 1966 winning our respective leagues on several occasions amongst many other cup successes.
Evenwood CC has been a pillar of the community for over half a century providing a way for young people to get into sport.
We are located in a deprived area of County Durham and ensure we create a welcoming environment to all whilst providing equipment and access to cricket for all our current and new members.
A number of our players over the years have gone on to represent the club at their respective county age groups.
Since 2018 we have provided ECB schemes to the local schools to keep kids active and provide a pathway into cricket, through ALL STARS and DYNAMO Cricket programmes with over 30 children taking part from local schools last season.
As you can imagine £10,000 is a lot of money to any amateur sports club and in particularly Evenwood CC as we have no clubhouse or bar facilities to fundraise from. The pandemic also hit the club hard like every sports team and we are only just starting to fully recover from the two years of incredibly difficult times.
We are looking to install an all weather practice facility at our ground. The facility will consist of two practice lanes with a playing surface suitable for practice during inclement weather as well as an enclosed netted cage.
Total Project Cost - £33,000
We now need to raise the remaining £10,000 to complete the project. (See above example of All Weather Practice Facility)
Once this is secured we can start our project and build the first class practice facility for the benefit of our junior and adult playing members.
(See above our custom designed practice facility)
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Create a fundraiser of your own. Use the button on our page to get started. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
