This Winter is going to be hard. We want to help our members and the wider community at this difficult time through providing a warm space
Who are we?
Neuro Dropin is an award-winning charity that has been running in North Lancs since 2011 and we welcome anyone affected by any neurological condition (MS, Parkinsons, ME, Stroke, Epilepsy, MND, MG, Acquired Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Huntington's and many more).
Since 2011 we have holistically supported on average 90 people pw, their families and loved ones.
We aim to provide a safe and friendly space where people can join in a wide range of activities and benefit from peer support which we know has tremendously positive effects on living with a long-term condition.

We aim to provide a safe and friendly space where people can join in a wide range of activities and benefit from peer support which we know has tremendously positive effects on living with a long-term condition.
Through this new initiative we aim to provide a warm accessible, stimulating environment open to our service users and their carers during the times specified. Warm drinks and food including at least one hot meal per day will be provided. We will also offer access to a community pantry offering basic cupboard essentials. We will set up hobbies and activities throughout the week that will be suitable for our service users and the wider community including brain circuits, breathwork, indoor boules, exercise classes, book club, pen pals, board games/puzzles, crafting, art therapy etc.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We want to raise money to enable us to buy equipment to ensure we continue to offer a stimulating environment to combat the negative effects on people due to the cost of living crisis. Our wish list would include large screen tablets and table top activities. The benefits of these would be amazing for our community.
How we’ll spend the money raised
The money we raise together will be spent on technology such as large screen I pads and technology based activities that would help our users so much. We could offer help with emails, online forms, personal help with these. Not only that, we could have games and activities to stimulate users, encourage social interaction through shared games and increase fine motor skill simply through use.
