Building a Training Home for Cricket in Our Community
Old Bradwell New City Cricket Club is more than just a team, it’s a growing community built around a shared love of cricket and a belief that the sport should be open to everyone.
We are proud to be making cricket truly accessible, welcoming players of all backgrounds, abilities, and ages. From first-time juniors picking up a bat to experienced adult players, our club is a place where everyone can belong, develop, and thrive.
Our junior section is at the heart of what we do. We now have over 70 boys and girls playing regularly, and that number is growing by more than 30% each year. Creating equal opportunities in cricket is something we care deeply about, and we’re especially proud of our strong and expanding girls’ section.
At the same time, our adult men’s and women’s teams are experiencing exciting growth, with more players joining each season and a rising standard of cricket across the club.
But our facilities haven’t kept pace with our ambition.
Right now, our training setup simply isn’t big enough or modern enough to support the number of players we have. Our current nets are no longer fit for purpose, making it difficult to run effective training sessions, particularly for our rapidly growing junior section.
That’s why we’re crowdfunding.
We’re raising funds to transform our training facilities and create a space that matches the energy, passion, and growth of our club. With your support, we can:
Every contribution, big or small, helps us move closer to a future where no player is turned away and every aspiring cricketer has the opportunity to play, learn, and grow.
Be part of our journey. Help us build the future of cricket in Old Bradwell.
