Fundraising to build replacement practice nets at Bledlow Ridge Cricket Club

Who are we?

Bledlow Ridge Cricket Club sits at the heart of beautiful Bledlow Ridge, a stunning location sitting in the Chiltern Hills. Know as The Bears we run three senior teams, seven mixed junior teams, two girls teams and a newly formed women's team.

Why are we crowdfunding?

In the next 5 years the club want to support the next generation players, supporters, parents, visitors and community members by expanding our investment in the grassroots of cricket, improve the quality of our players and strengthen what we can offer the local community.

How we’ll spend the money raised

The key investment from this fundraising to to replace our 15 year old practice nets.

As you can see from these photos the nets are in much need of repair, not just to improve the quality of the practice but critically the safety of the all those using the facility.  

Community impact

While nets are at the centre of this fundraising, the cricket club is at the heart of the village and local community. The ground is used all year by locals for exercise, dog walking and those visiting the Clubhouse Cafe that is open all year round.

In the summer months the clubhouse is open on Fridays and Saturdays evening for members and visitors to make the most of club facilities and beautiful views.
