Aim

Support our weekly Youth Club and help us keep giving young people a safe space to grow, thrive and build brighter futures

Who we are

We are NEAT. We believe every young person deserves somewhere safe to go, people they can trust and the opportunity to reach their full potential. Help us make that happen.

Our story

NEAT HQ is a registered charity based in the heart of Epsom (Charity Number 1212329). We bring young people together through sport, play, mentoring and positive relationships, helping them build confidence, make friends and feel part of their community.

Founders Ben and Grant's journey began with football and a shared passion for supporting local young people. Through their work in the community, they saw first-hand how many families struggle to find safe, accessible and affordable activities for their children. They knew they could do more.

Working closely with Surrey Police, they developed NEAT's free Youth Club to give children and teenagers somewhere positive to spend their time, enjoy new experiences and build relationships with trusted role models.

Today, NEAT is much more than a youth club or sports organisation. We are a community hub bringing together sport, education, fun and wider support to help young people thrive.

What we do

Every Wednesday evening, we open our doors to around 10–30 young people aged 9–16, providing a free, safe and welcoming space where they can be themselves, try something new and connect with others.

From football and boxing to gaming, pool, arts and crafts, we offer activities that some young people might not otherwise have the opportunity or confidence to access.

But what we provide goes beyond activities. We help young people develop confidence, teamwork, respect, resilience and essential life skills. Our team creates an environment where everyone feels welcome, encouraged and supported to make positive choices.

We believe that when young people feel valued, have something to look forward to and are surrounded by positive influences, they have greater opportunities to build a brighter future.

Our vision: five nights a week, more opportunities, brighter futures

We have big ambitions for NEAT and the young people we support.

Our current funding allows us to run one free Youth Club session each week, but this funding will soon run out. Without further support, this valuable provision is at risk.

We don't want to lose what we have built. We want to build on it.

Our vision is to continue our existing Wednesday session and expand to five free evenings a week, Monday to Friday, giving more local children and teenagers somewhere safe, positive and engaging to go throughout the week.

Over time, we hope to introduce sessions for different age groups, expand our activities, organise trips and weekend opportunities and maybe one day, establish additional sites so that even more communities can benefit.

We want to give young people more than somewhere to go. We want to give them opportunities to discover their strengths, develop new skills, form lasting friendships and feel proud of who they are and what they can achieve.

How your donation will make a difference

We estimate that expanding our Youth Club to five evenings a week will cost approximately £55,000–£60,000 per year. This covers staffing, equipment, insurance, cleaning, activities and other essential running costs.

Every donation will help us protect our existing provision and move closer to making our vision a reality.

Your support will help us:

  • Keep our Youth Club free so that cost is never a barrier to taking part.
  • Fund more sessions and staff, allowing us to welcome more young people and provide a safe, supported environment.
  • Provide more activities and equipment, giving young people the chance to explore new interests, stay active and develop new skills.
  • Create more opportunities, including different age-group sessions and weekend activities.
  • Reach more local young people, particularly those who may be vulnerable to isolation, anti-social behaviour or negative influences.

We are also looking to build new corporate partnerships, recruit volunteers and secure donations of equipment. For example, new artificial turf for our mini football pitch would help us improve the facilities available to the young people who attend.

Alongside our fundraising events, including Golf Days, football matches and Derby Days, this Crowdfunder will help us bring more people, businesses and supporters together behind a shared goal.

Be part of our story

We are incredibly grateful for the support we have already received from Surrey Police, local businesses and our community. Their belief in our work has helped us establish a Youth Club that is already making a positive difference.

Now, we need your help to take the next step.

By supporting NEAT, you are investing in local children and teenagers, giving them somewhere safe to belong, opportunities to grow and positive people to turn to when they need support.

Together, we can help build a safer, stronger and a more connected community, one young person, one session and one opportunity at a time.

Please donate, share our Crowdfunder and help us give more young people a brighter future. Every contribution brings us one step closer to achieving our goals.

Thank you for being part of the NEAT community.
