NE Volume Magazine to Be Released Online-Only

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, and with music venues, theatres and pubs now closed for what could be three months, if not more, it is simply not financially viable to be able to release our May edition in print.

Not being able to release our May edition means that we'll be unable to support North East musicians, artists and businesses, I will receive zero income, and I will be unable to support our first baby - and she's due to be born in May! 

With that in mind, the only option is to release an online-only version at nevolume.co.uk/magazine.

The release will, of course, be different than our usual editions but we will include a wide-scope of interviews with local musicians, artists and businesses, there will also be a new-release reviews section, an artist/business spotlight and an article on how coronavirus is affecting the music/culture/bar industry here in the North East - as well as a spread to thank those who donate.

By releasing the online-only version, it will still ensure that we can support local musicians/artists and businesses and it will hopefully mean that I have enough to live off and support our soon-to-be-born baby.

If you can donate in any way, it would mean an awful lot. And if we reach our target of £2000, anything above that would be donated to the music venues, theatres and bars that have supported us over the years.
