Win first edition whiskies and give to charity

Aim

The aim of our prize draw is to raise funds to support our planet and its people, by donating the proceeds to three amazing charities.

The Prize

1 x Ainnir Nc'nean Organic Single Malt Scotch Whisky 

10 x Nc'nean Organic Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Batches 1-10)

Ainnir: our inaugural release of Organic Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This delicious batch of just 1,320 bottles was released in 2020 at cask strength (60.3%) and sold out in just over 24 hours. The first ever bottle released broke the world record over 4 times by selling at charity auction for over £41,000. Each bottle is hand numbered and comes wrapped in the signature Nc'nean tissue inside the original Ainnir gift tube.

Batches 1-10: one bottle from each of the first 10 batches of organic single malt we released. Each batch is 46% abv, is a cask mix of 35% ex-American whiskey casks and 65% STR red wine casks, and has notes of citrus, peach, apricot and spice. Each bottle comes in our signature Nc'nean gift tube.

The Cause

As part of our commitment to this planet and its people, we promise to donate a certain amount to two or three causes each year. 

With sustainability so close to our heart, this year we will again be supporting ClientEarth, an environmental law charity, with a unique approach - using the law to create powerful change that protects life on Earth. They work in partnership across borders, systems and sectors, to fight climate change, tackle pollution, defend wildlife and protect people and the planet. 

Some of the money raised will be donated to the DEC appeal for the Turkey-Syria earthquake. Devastating earthquakes have killed tens of thousands of people in Turkey and Syria, hundreds of buildings have been destroyed and survivors are facing freezing conditions and need urgent aid. We feel that it is our duty to support humanitarian aid where we can.

Finally, we will also be supporting our local community charity, the Morvern Community Trust, which was established in 2009 to provide community benefit for the area of Morvern on the west coast of Scotland. The Morvern peninsula is Nc’nean’s home and it's important to them that they support their local community. MCT do a great job of helping with local projects to support everyone in the area.

98% of our total raised will be donated to charity and about 2% will go to Stripe payments, who process the payments on Crowdfunder. Nc'nean and Crowdfunder take 0% fees for running the draw.
