Longniddry and District Rotary Club is part of Rotary International; we serve the coastal communities of East Lothian from Prestonpans to Aberlady.

Each year we organise events, generating funds to support various charities and to provide help for vulnerable people in our local area and further afield. This year we are giving our support to the Edinburgh Childrens' Hospital (Sick Kids) Charity by staging our NC 500 Cyclethon.

The Cyclethon will consist of a team of club members and friends cycling in one day the equivalent of 500 miles using static exercise bikes or "spinners" to simulate following the famous North Coast 500 route round Scotland. The event will be staged at Craigielaw Golf Club using facilites and equipment kindly supplied by Brian Dickson of Maximise Fitness and Craigielaw G C. The Cyclethon will take place on Saturday 16th February and we anticipate pedalling non-stop for most of the day to complete the distance.

We welcome all donations large or small small on the basis that "mony a mickle maks a muckle" so please help us on our mission to help others.
