Aim
To provide fully and part funded spaces to our NB events across the UK; to keep growing our resources webpage & keeping it free to access.
Nature’s Blueprint is a growing community of people exploring how to live, work and connect in ways that restore both people and planet. We bring together a diverse range of people who give a s**t (our unofficial motto!) through in-person and online gatherings, workshops and conversations that nurture imagination, wellbeing and action.
Our recent impact study found that 81% of workshop & community participants spend more time in nature than they did before. Two-thirds changed how they source their food, and over half now actively support local farmers or growers. People cook more whole, seasonal meals, have become more mindful about chemicals and consumption, and share what they learn with others, creating ripple effects far beyond our events.
This work supports wellbeing too. 81% feel more connected to their sense of purpose, two-thirds make healthier, more intentional life choices, and over half report reduced stress through nature-based practices. Many go on to organise community gatherings or volunteer locally, strengthening social connection at a time when it is badly needed.
Until now, Nature’s Blueprint has been almost entirely self-funded. We’ve offered events where those who can pay full price do so, whilst ensuring fully and part-funded places are always available for those who can’t. We wholeheartedly believe that community events such as ours should be accessible to all. Diversity, equity and reciprocity are central to our work, with each person giving what they can and receiving what they need to create balance and shared ownership. So too is cross-pollination: bringing together different people, sectors and ideas so we learn from each other rather than working in silos. This is how positive change begins, in our communities and in the wider world.
We’re now at a turning point. To move into the next stage, Nature’s Blueprint needs to stand on its own two feet. The money raised through this crowdfunder will:
- Help cover venue deposits for Nature's Blueprint events planned for 2026 in Brighton, London, Devon, Cumbria/Lancashire)
- Cover a fundraising specialist (1–2 days a month) to secure long-term, values-aligned grants for accessible gatherings and nature-based wellbeing.
- Support our intern (£350/month) who helps us promote NB events, collate impact and share free resources.
- Maintain our website, which holds our growing library of free to access resources.
This support will give us the breathing space to compost what we’ve learned, integrate it and grow sustainably, while continuing to host both online and in-person gatherings.
Nature’s Blueprint is not about growth for growth’s sake. It is an ongoing experiment in how we live and work in more connected, regenerative ways. We are exploring what it means to create thriving systems, human, social and ecological, where accessibility, diversity, reciprocity and cross-pollination are the roots of everything we do.
