The Name: DeRoiste Natural Beauty

Was derived from our family name Roche spelt in Irish Gaelic "DeRoiste". I chose a name that represented who we are as a family business.

My Vision:

I am passionate about helping users fall in love and embrace the skin they’re in using plant based products that are free from toxins. Everyone is beautiful in their own unique way regardless of their skin tone hence offering inclusive products.

To offer products that will enhance your natural complexion without compromising the natural skin function.

The Story:

My passion for skincare developed from a young age having witnessed the damage skin bleaching products caused on users. I recall how being light skinned was and to an extent today is still perceived to mean beauty and offer one social acceptance.

Over 3 years ago I took the step to start researching and testing ingredients that were plant based, suitable for sensitive skin and packed with nutrients from mother nature. I started making some products in my own kitchen and testing them, I must say it has been a huge learning curve but I did not give up! I continued to refine, research and perfect.

As a mum to four girls and one boy all with very sensitive skin like myself and having suffered from severe eczema causing hair loss and scarring it was important to consider ingredients that were pure, 100% naturally derived and suitable for even the most sensitive of skins.

Beauty should be inclusive regardless of ones skin tone. We are doing this by offering products that work with your skins own natural complexion instead of against it.

I believe in sustainably and ethically sourced ingredients so that we are all doing our best to protect the environment.

Funding:

Your pledges will help in running the production of our first two products from the range namely the Radiance 2-in-1 Face & Eye Serum and our Radiance Face wash. We are confident that, with your support, our products will be ready to be delivered to your doors in December 2020.

If we go over our set goal then we will be able to add more products from our range, obtain certification and for marketing purposes.

Risks and challenges:

We have already teamed up with a manufacturer in England, developed and tested the products. The brand image and the packaging have been designed. All we need now is you! 

We are also aware of the possible delays in the production and manufacturing stages.

- Production delays: in case of unexpected problems with the manufacturing of the products or with the packaging suppliers. We have added some extra time to our time frame to take these circumstances into account. 

- Duty / Customs delays: caused by unpredictable issues concerning distribution of the products outside Europe. 

We will ensure we keep you updated all the steps of the way!
