At the National Beekeeping Centre Wales we have a live webcam to our hives. This is an integral part of the visitors experience and really does engage people with the honey bee. With bee populations rapidly declining throughout the world, the honey bee being one of the few insects that is classed as being endangered and is therefore severely threatened with extinction. Our webcam is run on solar power and unfortunately keeps going down due to horrible wet weather. An additional solar panel would boost the power immensely; hence inspiring our message how vital it is that we protect these fantastic insects. Please help us to help the honey bee.
