Aim
We are raising funds for appliances for our newly renovated kitchen, including a commercial dishwasher and oven.
Our Community Hub supports people living in rural isolation just outside Helston in West Cornwall where links to services is limited. At our Village Hall we provide many services locally, offering social connection and support. This includes a free Community Cafe every Thursday. Having recently been granted funding to renovate our small, tired kitchen we are now seeking funds for the appliances! Catering to up to 100 people, a commercial dishwasher would save us valuable time, water and energy. We also need at least one oven and various bits of kitchen equipment. With this equipment we will be able to serve delicious, nutritious hot meals. Our Hall is also available to hire for functions providing a much-needed income stream for our charity. We are a team of dedicated volunteers passionate about the long-term viability of our Hub.
