MySight York Covid-19 Response: Home Connections

Aim
To support our 1200 members with sight loss in the York community during the Covid-19 social-isolation/self-isolation period and beyond.
While we are currently unable to see people face to face in our Equipment and Information Centre, we have created a new service called Home Connections. Following detailed discussion of each client's needs, we are working with volunteers from City of York Council to deliver a range of specialised equipment to their home. This will be followed by further telephone contact to help them explore the equipment in detail, ensuring that it meets their needs and helps them to make the most of the sight they have.
