Can you help keep the stories of Glasgow's punk fans alive by donating to a punk history documentary - 'My First Punk Gig'?

After the award-winning student documentary, 'My First Punk Gig - Derek's Tale', was produced, people asked for another episode.  After various attempts to find a suitable contributor, we met Ilene, who told her remarkable story of how the punk fashion inspired and empowered her during those formative years.  How could I say no?  

But I've not been able to find funding and I hate to say it but - filmmaking ain't cheap. So, this is where you come in. Can you donate a few quid to not only make make 'Ilene's Tale' the resources it needs to be a striking short documentary, but put a Scottish story on a worldwide platform?

By donating, you will help to cover the costs of audio (very important!) and insurance (scarily important!) and buy those giving up their time to help with the recording a cuppa. It will also help with submission to more film festivals: 'Derek's Tale' ended up being shown in (big deep breath): Los Angeles, Berlin, London, Glasgow (twice), Texas (!), Folkestone, New Orleans, Edinburgh and Brighton! So by donating, you're helping putting Scotland's musical history on the worldwide punk map! Plus you will be helping a bunch of late-starter entrance filmmakers from various backgrounds get established in the tough film production world!
