Aim

I am trying to raise funds for my next three week block of tournaments which will be in Tunisia.

My name is Adam Jones. I am 19 years of age and from the Wirral in Merseyside.I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old. My mum got me into playing as she loves tennis and has always played the game. I started playing at a club on the wirral called Prenton tennis club. I still play there to this day 15 years down the line. When I was 12 myself and my family decided to take my tennis to another level because I just loved the sport and it was all I ever wanted to do. I moved to Wrexham tennis academy playing full time . When I was 15 we then decided to move me to a high performance academy in Bath. Bath is one of the best academy’s in the country with world class facilities and fantastic coaches and players. An average day for me I play tennis for 4 hours a day and I do 2 hours of physical training.  I was in the top 5 in Great Britain from the age of 14 to 18. I got up to a high of 350 in the world for juniors until a shoulder injury put me out of the game for a while which brought an end to my junior career. I have won 3 junior international doubles titles in Austria, turkey and Great Britain. I have also won 1 junior international singles title which was in Great Britain. I recently transferred to the men’s game and gained my men’s professional world ranking put in Tunisia. I am currently ranked 1592 in the world. I believe I am good enough to be inside the top 100  in the world one day. My goal by the end of the year is to be top 750 in the world.

Tennis is a very expensive sport which costs up to £40.000 a year. As a player you have to cover all of your own expenses from flights, hotels, food, equipment, training and physio. I am asking for £3000 to help cover my upcoming 3 week trip to Tunisia.

I have a dream and I am willing to work as hard as possible to get there. Anything that you can donate will be much appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Adam.
