Aim
To raise awareness and funds for mitochondrial research
My Mito Mission's Feb/Mar prize draw is an incredible, unique and priceless Anne Lister history experience for our winner and a plus one! The draw ends just before Anne Lister's birthday week, and can be taken that week or anytime by arrangement. Check out Anne Lister Birthday Week here
All funds go directly to raising awareness and funds for research as well as supporting those affected by mitochondrial disease.
The prize consists of:
- One lucky winner with their +1 will be invited to enjoy a private guided tour of Historic Haugh End House and gardens in Halifax* (the property is private and not open to the public)
- Sip Madeira and enjoy tea and cakes in the drawing room where Anne Lister herself spent many days and nights in 19th century. Walk into a bedroom where Anne Lister spent the night with Marianna Lawton. Soak up the history whilst enjoying a stroll around the beautifully landscaped gardens
- The lucky winners can have their photos taken outside the famous old blue doors and see the rooms where Gentleman Jack was filmed (it was the Priestley’s house in GJ)
- This Grade II Star Listed house was, historically, owned by the Priestley and Rawson families
- Every penny raised in the draw is going to My Mito Mission
