Aim

To start up an animal memorial web based business, where a percentage of the profit from the business helps various animal causes.

Having dedicated a lot of my life to rescuing and rehabilitating animals, both domestic and wild. I wanted to create a business that gave a little back to something I feel passionate about and at the same time helped me and my son to get above the poverty line.

I'm Jodie and I'm a full time working single mum to a 3 year old boy and 4 rescue kitty's.  I have been thinking about setting up a small business for the last couple of years but I have been struggling to find the money I need to do this. I live my life in my overdraft, not because I'm bad with money but because once the bills are paid I just have very little left over.

On October 31st last year one of my beautiful rescue cats sadly passed away, which was truly devastating, he was called Alfie and you can see him in the picture I've attached. He was the sweetest and gentlest cat and I still feel extremely sad thinking about him now. When Alfie passed away I thought long and hard about how I could set up a business to not only help me and my family but to give something to the animal causes that desperately need it. I am focused on helping the smaller charities for all types of animals that don't receive as much funding as they deserve.

My Little White Cat Limited was set up in memory of my beautiful boy and I am focusing on the memorial market for our beloved pets.

My plan is to set up a site selling memorial products and then at the end of each month donate 20% of the profit to local animal causes, not just limited to cats. This will include both domestic and wild animals. 

In order to set up this business I am trying to raise the funds for the equipment I will need and help building the website. I already have a little bit of stock and I have purchased a website address, I have even set up a bank account for the company ready to start and have searched for hours through suppliers.
