Donate for your chance to win a 5-night stay in Sunny Spain. The prize is available to upgrade so you can make it a longer holiday too!
We're raising money for a very worthy cause.
One of our instructors (John) has a daughter who suffers with epilepsy.
It's not uncommon for the daughter to fit during the night and at the moment, they are totally unaware of this is likely to happen. Ideally, they need to time how long the fit lasts, to report this back to medical professionals. This is impossible if they don't know when it starts.
The danger is that; where a fit lasts more than 5 minutes, there's a significant risk of brain damage. As a result, John and his partner currently take turns staying up through the night, doing shifts to keep an eye on their daughter 'just in case'.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to help raise enough money, to buy John and his family a 'bed monitor'. This type of monitor would allow John and his partner to go to sleep as normal, but alert them immediately in the event that their daughter starts fitting. Not only will that allow them to time how long the fits are lasting for, but they can be by their daughter's side when needed, and get some valuable sleep in between. The monitors aren't cheap though, so that's where this fundraising idea comes in.
One of our trainees has taken it upon herself to propose a way to help John and his family, by offering up her beautiful holiday home on the Costa del Sol (link below), as a prize to one lucky donator. So by helping John, you've also got the chance to win a FREE 5-day stay in this gorgeous apartment......and if you wanted to make it a longer stay, she's also happy for you to pay a little extra (directly to her) to extend your visit. My Four Wheels is keen to support this kind gesture and so we've set up this page to help promote the fundraising.

You'll need to sort your own travel and insurance, but flights at the right time of day / year are very inexpensive. The stay would typically be in the 'off-season' anyway.
We're going to be allocating virtual entries to anyone who donates to this wonderful cause, to win this fantastic prize.
Tickets are £5 per entry
(A single donation of £5 = one entry, single donation of £20 = four entries)
Max no. of tickets available = 500
Any additional money raised, over and above the cost of the bed monitor - will be donated to the charity 'Epilepsy Action'
We hope that that My Four Wheels family of pupils, trainees, instructors, trainers and all other associates, will come together and take part by supporting this fundraiser.
Feel free to share this link with all your friends and family......and fingers crossed by helping someone, you manage to bag a week in the sun.....GOOD LUCK!!!
