My 2nd Chance Holiday Club - August 2022

We have successfully ran 9 Summer Holiday Club's and we are ready to go again Monday 1st - Friday 12th August 2022.

We are the recipients of LB Lewisham Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) funding.  This only coverers a part of the funds required and really centred around 8 days and a maximum of 16 hours per week.  The Holiday Club will be free to children in the community of Lewisham Borough that are on Free School meals.

We have two weeks packed of great activities as well as a trip to the seaside, which many of the children attending have never been before.

I cannot wait to watch the excitement of the children of the community attending this year.

Help us to make a difference, this event will go ahead and will be good, but we want it to be great!!

Our children have been through so much over the last couple of years and we have the opportunity to give them some happiness in the midst of it all.

We are trying to raise £4,000 for the Holiday Club nd £3,000 for Nancy's Community Meals Service.

We have successfully found a new base to operate Nancy's Community Meals Service (NCMS), NCMS will be doing all the catering for this year Holiday Club again. The children so enjoyed their meals.

The needs of the community have increased and so has the demands for our services. We are able to support and love the role we play and the needs we meet, but really need some financial assistance to carry on with our already established initiatives as well as begin a few more.

We are also mindful that with the summer holidays fast approaching and children being based at home this is putting undue pressure on families and we would like to add some much needed support.

We have volunteers that give of their time, but we need to ensure that we can cover expenses, training where relevant, uniform and other cost that this incur.
