On 12 September, I'm attempting a 10km open water swim. I've been training for months, but it's still a fairly daunting distance and I'd love your support. I'm doing it to raise money for Dragonflies – The Oli France Foundation.
The charity was set up by my friend Clare's brother James and his wife Alex, in memory of their son Oli, who died aged three. Dragonflies now supports other families facing what James and Alex and their family went through.
The charity creates opportunities for memory-making and connection for families caring for children with short lives, giving them precious time together away from hospital appointments and uncertainty.
Every donation helps Dragonflies get off the ground:
If you can spare anything at all, it will go directly to helping families facing an unimaginably difficult time. Thank you for reading this and for supporting me.
