To celebrate the achievements and honour the new UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall with his own portrait mural in the Atherton area.

Following Sunday mornings iconic events at Madison Square Gardens, we now stand at the cusp of an extraordinary opportunity to celebrate a hometown hero who has ascended to the summit of greatness—the UFC Interim Heavyweight World Champion Tom Aspinall.

Tom's achievements in the UFC now speak for themselves, a globally recognised icon and a world champion who took on a world title fight with two weeks notice.

Not only is Tom known as a colossal athlete and world champion, he is also a man who has touched countless lives through decades of work training and supporting so many people across the North West, and along with his father Andy, has worked to inspired generations of combat sports practitioners and future champions.

In the spirit of unity and pride, we are embarking on a mission to immortalise our champion's journey with a breathtaking landmark mural that will grace the walls of our area, serving as a testament to the courage, resilience, honesty and humilty we know Tom for.

We have already spoken with officers from Wigan Council to best understand the the correct procedures to ensure that such a mural is long lasting and will be maintained for years to come, and have already engaged with several award-winning artists to provide us with samples of work before making a decision.

This project is more than just paint on a wall; it is a symbol of inspiration, a reminder to every aspiring athlete, dreamer, and believer that from our streets can emerge giants who conquer the world.
