Help Mud Hub become a thriving creative community for everyone!
Hi, I’m Sammy, director and founder of Mud Hub CIC, a brand new community pottery studio in Norwich based in Carrow house and I’m asking for your help to make this dream a reality.
Since February, I’ve been buried in paperwork, negotiating to save the old Wensum Lodge equipment, knocking down walls, clearing derelict rooms… and with the help of friends and family we’ve transformed a forgotten office into what is now a vibrant, inclusive space where anyone can get their hands muddy and make something beautiful.
We’ve come so far, but this self funded project has hit its limit and now I need your help to finish what we’ve started.
Your support will help us:
• Buy vital equipment and materials which will allow us to open in September
• Make the space fully accessible
• Offer subsidised and free classes to those who need them
• Build a home for a supportive community of makers
With your help we’ll build a welcoming studio filled with conversation, creativity and clay, run by a skilled, fairly paid team, with shelves lined with the work of people of all walks of life. And with our profits going back into our social purpose we’re building something bigger than a studio—it’s a thriving creative community everyone can be part of.
