Scottish Children and Young People’s mental health charity Tiny Changes is excited to announce their second annual ‘Make Tiny Changes Month’ for June 2024. Tiny Changes will be encouraging supporters to help beat last year’s huge fundraising total of over £35,000 by taking on personal and team challenges throughout the month of fundraising.
Tiny Changes is Scotland’s first national young people’s mental health charity, founded in 2019. The charity was set up in memory of artist and Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison. Through his music and art Scott made tiny changes that had a big impact on people from all walks of life.
Tiny Changes believe that Scotland’s young people deserve great mental health, and we believe in their insight and innovation to make this possible. From 2019 to 2023 Tiny Changes funded early mental health intervention projects across Scotland, supporting over 4,000 children and young people, with many of them leading change in their communities.
In 2023 the charity shifted their fundraising strategy from grantmaker lead to a service delivery, where they will support young people to co-design and lead Tiny Changes projects.
The charity’s two goals are to invest £1 million in young people’s mental health and to support 10,000 children and young people by the end of 2026. Read more about our strategic plan and goals here: tinychanges.com
