Whether you are as fit as a fiddle, have trained for only a week before, or plan to wear a giant costume, the London Marathon is no easy feat.
Sara Weller, MaPS Chair and BT & Virgin Money Non-Executive Director has an aggressive form of progressive Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and after two decades serving in UK plc boardrooms, is about to take on her biggest challenge yet.
She'll be tackling all 26.2miles of the London Marathon in her wheelchair, fuelled by knowing that progression and deterioration in MS sufferers can, and must be stopped.

Sara founded MS Must Stop in 2022, supported by business leaders from the FTSE100 and beyond, with the goal being to raise £500,000 to accelerate the funding of new MS treatments.
An estimated 2.5m people worldwide have Multiple Sclerosis, with 130,000 of those living in the UK. Two thirds are women, with most being diagnosed in their 20s and 30s, and it can run in families. Unfortunately, there's no cure, few treatments on offer and it's an unpredictable path.
However, there is hope. The UK is a world-leader in MS research and a radical new trial platform named "Octopus" will be testing new treatments which researchers believe show breakthroughs are within touching distance.

Please note this address is only valid for this free prize draw only. Please don't send any other communication to this address as it won't be received. Writing must be legible or will be deemed invalid. Any incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. You will not be notified if your entry is invalid. A maximum of one entry can be made per postcard or envelope received. The deadline for postal entries to be received is 5pm on Thursday 20 April.
