Fund Croydon's Fantastic Mr Fox

Mr Fox opened three years ago with the vision of bringing an elevated hospitality experience to Croydon, that could rival the offerings of central London.

Our winning formula of high quality, locally sourced produce teamed with simple, seasonal, and elegant menus has ensured that we are a town centre favourite for any occasion, on any day.

From after work drinks, birthday parties and our famous Sunday roast, to curated tasting evenings and larger corporate events; Mr Fox has been at the centre of gastro innovation and a unique drinks experience since our inception. 

Since the beginning of the Covid 19 Pandemic, we have faced extreme challenges to ensure the survival of our business, and the continued employment of our fantastic team.

Despite this, we produced and delivered over 7,500 individual meals for NHS staff at five local hospitals. We offered bespoke meal kits for those that still wanted the Mr Fox experience at home. We offered takeaway meals and cocktails throughout the pandemic. When the restrictions dictated, we spent over £15,000 to create an outdoor drinking and dining experience like no other for our guests. We also championed the government guidance, in most circumstances doing more than required to ensure our guests and team are as safe as possible. The list goes on!...

This December was our chance to recoup the financial losses that we experienced in 2020 and 2021, having been unable to trade for the majority of the past two years. Due to very last minute, unclear government guidance, we faced an unparalleled number of cancellations and no-shows which has had a significant impact on the business.
