Pedal4Pounds - supporting young composers

Aim
MRF's valued support for young composers, aged 14 - 17, is free. Help MRF provide its support through this sponsored cycling challenge.
In 2023, MRF trustee Alex Ling hiked '100 miles for Martin'. For 2025, MRF supporters are taking up another challenge: Pedal4Pounds cycling around 76 miles over one weekend: Winchester to Oxford via Reading. Starting where Alex's walk ended in 2023 - the medieval Buttercross in Winchester, our destination, Oxford, is the home of chamber choir Commotio - MRF ensemble-in-residence 2025. This challenge, rescheduled from April (any funds pledged were returned), will now start on Sat. 27th Sept. taking NR23, to Reading, 42 miles. On Sun. 28th we'll take NR5 and cycle the remaining 34 miles to our destination - Oxford. Here's the link to the full route.
